HM PROFESSIONAL PILOT PROGRAM

The Professional Pilot Program is our key course for students working towards a career as an Airline pilot . -

Eligibility Criteria -

  • 10+2 with Physics and Maths ( applicants without Physics and Maths in grade 12 th can also apply and can clear Physics and Maths through NIOS or any board -acceptable by DGCA ) 
  • Minimum 17 years old 
  • Eligible to hold a Class 1 Medical
  • Should be able to read , write , understand and speak English 
  • Phase 1 - DGCA CPL GROUND SCHOOL

    In This phase students will undergo CPL ground classes with HM Aviation ( we offer both offline and online classes) . In this phase students will study CPL subjects such Air Navigation , Aviation Meteorology , Air Regulations and Human Factors etc with us. We believe in only concept based training and not in rote learning as thorough understanding of these subjects is essential for safe conduct of flight operations. This course on an average takes around 3 months. After completion of the course, students will appear for the Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology and Air Regulations exam with DGCA. 
    Our Training faculty comprises Retd. Air Navigators, Ex Airforce Pilots and Experienced Ground training instructors etc.

    Duration - 3 months

  • Phase - 2 - CPL/ MULTI / IR

    During this phase students will undergo CPL / Multi and Instrument Rating at HM Aviation's partnered Flight schools in USA or NEW ZEALAND or SOUTH AFRICA etc ( students can choose any of our partnered flight schools for their flight training). All partnered flight schools are well versed with Indian DGCA requirements and have rich experience of training Indian students as per Indian DGCA curriculum. Each of these flying schools have been in business for a very long time, they have well maintained modern aircraft fleet, hand picked flight instructors, state of the art training facilities and offer high quality flight and ground training, upto airline standards. Upon successful completion of the course students will be awarded with a Commercial Pilot license. 

    Duration

    • USA - 7 to 8 months
    • NZ - 10 to 12 months
    • SA - 12 to 14 months
  • Phase 3 - DGCA Conversion’s flying

    During this phase student will undergo a couple of skill tests in India as required by DGCA and apply for their CPL with DGCA  .

    Duration - 2 to 3 months

  • Phase - 4 - AIRLINE PREPARATION + TYPE RATING

    HM Aviation is partnered with one of the best type rating training organisations around the globe to offer aircraft type rating of Airbus 320 or Boeing 737 or  ATR72-600  to our students. These TRTOs are well versed with DGCA curriculum and have rich experience in training Indian students. Our partnered TRTOs have state of the art training facility, highly experienced Instructors, Modern simulators and offer top class training upto airline standards. 
    After completion of type rating students undergo an airline preparation course with us, where they have been prepared for the various rounds they need to appear with an airline as a part of the airline selection process.
